STAUNTON, VIRGINIA - If you thought air travel couldn’t get any more chaotic, think again.

Passengers aboard an American Airlines flight to Miami recently experienced an unexpected spiritual awakening when a fellow traveler decided to battle demonic forces—mid-flight.

According to reports, the man, whose name has not been released, suddenly began shouting about Satan’s presence on the plane. Clearly feeling unprepared for a spontaneous exorcism, he then took matters into his own hands—literally—by swallowing a set of rosary beads. Because when faced with airborne demons, nothing says “I’m ready” like downing a religious artifact.

But the situation escalated further when the man allegedly attacked a flight attendant, prompting the crew to restrain him while passengers looked on in what was undoubtedly a mixture of horror and ‘this is why I drive.’

The flight eventually landed safely, with authorities taking the man into custody for evaluation. However, that wasn't before the man tried to make one last run off the plane, prompting passengers to aid in subduing him. No word yet on whether he successfully banished Satan from the aircraft or if the beads are still performing their holy duty somewhere in his digestive tract.

This incident joins a growing list of unhinged airline antics, reinforcing the notion that flying in 2025 is basically a live-action reality show where seatbelts are optional but patience is required.
